| 3MBS Tchaikovsky Marathon 2022 – Melbourne Recital Centre This concert is for all Friends and Music Lovers – including out-of-town and overseas friends! Despite Covid’s continuing efforts to cancel all concerts, I’m excited to announce my upcoming live performance February 19, at 12:30 pm at the Melbourne Recital Centre’s elegant Elisabeth Murdoch Hall. I will play Tchaikovsky’s The Seasons, Opus 37b, the first half of Concert #2 in the 3MBS Tchaikovsky Marathon. The second work will be his Souvenir de Florence Opus 70 played by a sextet from the MCO. Twelve short character pieces, each bearing the title of a month, The Seasons is most popularly known for June and October, the most haunting melodies of the set. Please come share this expressive and picturesque music with me. I love this work and cannot wait to play it for you! Remember, if the time or date is inconvenient, all you have to do is purchase a digital livestream ticket anytime before the concert begins to watch it online.
